1. Tik tek-

Do you want to enjoy the candies from your childhood?

 I have a special place where you can find all those nostalgic treats you miss and that are hard to find anywhere else. Curious about where it is? It’s our delightful “TikTek” shop! Even today, you can find many of the candies that made us cry in front of our parents when we were kids. Come check it out!

Where it’s located- Shop Number 261, Johari Bazar Road, Tripolia Bazar, Jaipur

How to reach- You can walk a short distance from Hawamahal to Tripolia gate. In the middle of this path, you will find “Tik tek”. You can also take E-rickshaw from Hawamahal to Tripolia gate which will charge you 5rs per person.

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 10 AM and closes at 9 PM.

Things you need to try- Feel free to try out all sorts of delicious candies over there

Price- You will be charged according to the quantity you require

2. Ramchandra chaat bhandaar-

You’ve probably enjoyed street food like Aalu Tikki, Dahi Vada, and Papdi Chaat before, but you absolutely have to check out the chaat at “Ramchandra Chaat Bhandaar”! They have such a fantastic variety of tasty chaat that you won’t be able to resist going back for more. Treat yourself—you won’t regret it!

Where it’s located- 161-a, Bapu Bazar, Pink City, Jaipur, Rajasthan                 

How to reach- You can walk a short distance from Hawamahal to Tripolia gate. In the middle of this path, you will find “ Ramchandra chaat bhandaar “. You can also take E-rickshaw from Hawamahal to Tripolia gate which will charge you 5rs per person.

But honestly, I’d recommend strolling on foot—you’ll get to enjoy a little bit of the vibrant Tripolia Bazaar along the way!

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 10 AM and closes at 9 PM.

Things you need to try- Aalu tikki, dahi vada

Price- The aalu tikki will cost you 40rs per plate and the dahi vada will cost you 50rs per plate.

3. Mixed fruit juice-

If you’re a fitness lover or just someone who enjoys healthy drinks, you definitely need to check out Haldiyo Ka Rasta for their delicious “Mixed fruit juice”! This uncle has been serving up seasonal juices for years. In winter, you can warm up with some tasty beetroot and carrot juice, and in summer, he offers refreshing lemon water and shikanji. It’s a great spot to grab a nutritious drink!

Where it’s located- 152, Haldion Ka Rasta, Johri Bazar, Johari Bazar, Jaipur, Rajasthan

How to reach- You can walk a short distance from Hawamahal to Johri Bazaar. On the Side of haldiyo ka rasta market, you will find “Mixed fruit juice”. You can also take an E-rickshaw from Hawamahal to haldiyo ka rasta will charge you 5rs per person.

I recommend walking to fully experience the vibrant Johri Bazaar!

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 11 AM and closes at 8 PM.

Things you need to try- In winter, enjoy some tasty beetroot and carrot juice, while in summer, opt for lemon water and shikanji.

Price- 20rs per glass

4. Ramchandra kulfi bhandaar- 

Do you love shakes and kulfi? I sure hope so! After you’ve savoured some delicious chaat and street food, why not treat yourself to something sweet and a refreshing drink? Head over to “Ramchandra Kulfi Bhandaar” – they have an amazing selection of shakes and kulfi that you’re definitely going to enjoy!

Where it’s located- Shop No. 222, 221, Tripolia Bazar, Pink City, Jaipur, Rajasthan

How to reach- You can walk a short distance from Hawamahal to Tripolia gate. In the middle of this path, you will find “Ramchandra Kulfi Bhandaar “.You can also take E-rickshaw from Hawamahal to Tripolia gate which will charge you 5rs per person.

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 10 AM and closes at 9 PM.

Things you need to try- Papaya shake, Oreo shake

Price- The prices depend on what you order (mostly 35rs per glass to 70rs per glass)

5. Krishna sweets-

Sweets are simply irresistible, aren’t they? If you’re in Jaipur and craving something tasty, make sure to stop by “Krishna Sweets.” You’ll find a delightful selection of fresh, ghee-made sweets that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Plus, they have a great variety of namkeen to try as well!

Where it’s located- WRPJ+R3F, Shop No.222 Mangori walo ki bagchi, Laxmi Nagar, Shankar Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Brahampuri, Jaipur, Rajasthan

How to reach- You can take an e-rickshaw from Hawamahal to Jorawar singh gate. Besides Jorawar singh gate there is a way where you will find “Krishna sweets “. E-rickshaw will charge you Rs 10 per person.

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 7 AM and closes at 10 PM.

Things you need to try- Samosa, mung dal ka Halwa

Price- The samosa will cost you 15rs per piece and the halwawill be charged according to the quantity you require

6. Karodiya kachori bhandaar-

If you’ve been shopping on Haldiyo ka Rasta and are feeling a bit worn out, treat yourself to a visit at Karodiya Kachori Bhandaar! Their hot, delicious kachori and samosas are sure to recharge you. After enjoying this best street food, you’ll leave with double the energy to continue your shopping spree!

Where it’s located- Shop no. 150, Karodia Kachori Wala, Haldiyo Ka Rasta, Johri Bazar, Jaipur 

How to reach- You can walk a short distance from Hawamahal to Johri Bazaar. In haldiyo ka rasta market, you will find “Karodiya kachori bhandaar “. You can also take an E-rickshaw from Hawamahal to haldiyo ka rasta will charge you 5rs per person.

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 8 AM and closes at 9 PM.

Things you need to try- Samosa, kachori, breadpakoda

Price- The samosa and kachori will cost you 20rs per piece and the breadpakoda will cost you 25rs per piece.

7. Keval chai wala-

I have spent a lot of time discussing tea, so let me share one more recommendation. Visit “Keval Chai Wala” for delicious, rich chai. You can also customize your tea according to your preferences, such as adding sugar, ginger and cardamom.

Where it’s located- WRJH+3GC, near Kala Hanuman Mandir, Chandi Ki Taksal, Subhash Chowk, Pink City, Jaipur, Rajasthan

How to reach- You can take a short walk from Hawa Mahal towards Kale Hanuman Ji. In front of “kale hanuman ji”. Alternatively, you can take an E-rickshaw from Hawa Mahal to Kale Hanuman Ji, which will cost you Rs 5 per person.

Best time to visit- The shop opens at 6 AM and closes at 11 PM.

Things you need to try- Normal chai, special chai

Price- Normal chai will cost you 15rs per glass, and special chai will cost you 20rs per glass(special chai is only available in the morning between 6 AM to 8 AM)

8. Mama fast food-

If you’re wandering down Haldiyo ka Rasta, don’t miss out on a fun and best street food spot called “Mama Fast Food”! The name might be a little quirky, but trust me, the flavours are amazing. You can grab a tasty sandwich and some mouthwatering sev puri in no time, and I guarantee you’ll love every bite!

Things you need to try- Sandwich, sev puri

Price- The sandwich will cost you 30rs per plate and sev puri will cost you 40rs per plate.

9. Nankhatai wala-

You’ve had some tasty sev puri on Haldiyo Ka Rasta, but have you tried “nankhatai” yet? You don’t have to look far to find this delightful treat—it’s right across from Mama Fast Food! So, what are you waiting for? Head over and indulge in some delicious nankhatai.

10. Random papad wale-

You can find Uncle Aunty selling papads in many places in Jaipur. Please try to buy papad only from these people. This will help many families and you will also enjoy the taste.

Where it’s located- Hawamahal side, Albert Hall and many more places

How to reach- You can find them in the Hawamahal area, the local market area, the Albert Hall area and many more

Best time to visit- They came from 12 PM to 9 PM

Things you need to try- Papad

Price- 10rs per piece
